I don’t believe for a second we are a 1 seed. Although I love this logic
Been reading through this thread and here's what I think I understand from everyone:
The committee will group teams first by pods of teams and the put the pods in an s-curve with the top pod in the curve guaranteed to play on Thursday - unless the top team in the pod loses their conference tournament championship, in which case the top teams in the top 2 pods will swap places. That means that after ISU won and UNC lost it likely means that ISU will move to a #1 seed but will be last in the s curve pods which means we can't play in Omaha. EXCEPT - with special consideration - a team will play against a former coach which means we need to root for the committee to place Nebraska in Omaha so that we play against Fred in Omaha as a #1 seed.
And - If all that happens then our best bet is that we'll get North Carolina as the top 2 seed in the western north southern regional and if the committee does place UNC as the #5 then that will increase our magic number to 3 which will place ISU and UNC in Los Angeles. UNLESS - Auburn can win the SEC championship then that will reset the Quadrant win percentage and the top 2 pods will be tied and if the seeding points are tied then Jaime, the UNC, Arizona and Marquette ADs will be picked at random to hold a 2 man sack race on Sunday night during the selection show to determine the Top 2 seed in Omaha!

Lol remember when we discussed last night how nc state winning wouldn’t change anything? Holy **** that feels like so long agoEven people at ESPN (outside of Lunardi and the other talking heads) are thinking ISU's curbstomping of Houston combined with UNC's loss has opened a huge can of worms for the 4th #1 seed.

I think the only fans advocating moving to Vegas are Arizona fans (for obvious reasons) and Utah fans (because they still hate the idea of coming to the Big 12 and want to be a bunch of *******).
Shoutout to @ChrisMWilliams for buttering Palm up in Hilton. It’s paying off apparently.Palm now predicting us a 1?

I would think at a minimum we’ve at least jumped Marquette for the 2 seed in the Midwest. No idea if we’ll get a 1, but this team definitely deserves a hard look at that.
I was thinking of jumping on the positivity train just to try to will it into existence, but Palm putting us at 1 is a death knellWell ****. If palm says we're a 1 we're probably a 2.
