Holy f*ck they had Tennessee and Marquette in front of us!!!! I assume the Vols are in the MW region.

A 3 seed playing close to home can and does happen. But the committee does not reward lower seeds by playing in their closest venue

So about this...

The 10 and 15 seeds are in fact, closer than the 2 seed in their bracket.

I hate to say it, but if the committee really thinks November non conference games are more important than going 2-1 against #1 Houston, we should probably reverse Big 12 decision to increase to 20 conference games.

Go back to 18, hope some of the JV conferences like ACC and Big Ten aren't too afraid play us, if not maybe A10/WWC/MWC/American schools. Or maybe just create even more inter conference schedule events.

Baylor had a run for three or four years where they played almost every game in Texas and they weren't an elite seed some of the years. It was part of how they built the program.
