I remember those middle school games where the kids would eke out 14 points in a a half. Were those six or eight minute quarters?

Look at them. They are so inept offensively, it's crazy. I don't know how Bennett fails year after year to have even one go-to guy when playing at that pace.
He didn't even utilize Shayok

Virginia has absolutely no business being in the tournament.

54 in the NET. 2-7 Q1. 10-10 in Q1-2. Kenpom 67. 78 SOS. Non Con SOS above 200. Only 4 wins against tourney teams.

What was the rationale for them being a 10 seed?

I didn't realize the former Drake coach was out at Colorado State now. Somehow that failed to register until the halftime interview.

How did Virginia win any games? They are so so bad. The committee effed this up so bad.

Their best (and only q1) wins were @ clemson and a neutral site win vs florida in november. They had a couple quad 1 nonconference losses though, so i'm sure that interested the committee.

We all have access to the most comprehensive data on the NCAA season now. I think before these metrics became all we talked about it was much easier for a selection committee to just wing it and nobody was any the wiser.

But this years' committee has done a dreadful job.
