Offense is doing fine, but the defense has been burned too many times. I fully expect that to tighten up (though SDSU has some ability on offense).

Compared to how other high seeds have fared being up 10 going into halftime is being in good shape.

Keep forcing turnovers and wear them down in the 2nd

Need to calm down on both ends a bit maybe.

ISU looks a bit uncomfortable on offense and SDSU is pretty patient on their own end.

Hopefully they start to wear down a bit; I don't see ISU keeping up with 63% shooting overall.

Honestly opposing message boards are about the only place one can talk about this team honestly and candidly. It most certainly isn't here (sadly). Also sadly it's the only real Cyclone board out there.

They got some garbage points off tipped balls or lucky rebounds that fell right in their lap.

Time for the coaching staff to get the team’s attention and get back to playing hard. It was too easy to start the game and the team lost focus. Settling for jump shots instead of working the offense.

Really poor possession to end the half.

Lots of good things but we outplayed them to a point where a 7 point lead is disappoionting. Need get defensive rebounds and get back to offensive movement and passing in the 2nd. Easily the best parts of the half were our defense in the passing lanes (excellent) and Milan's shooting.

We gave them a lot of "free" points they didn't deserve. The press out of that tv timeout was brutal. We were rolling, playing good defense, and it gave them free points and help change the momentum. Need to be smarter in the 2nd half.
