What is the deal with these stoppages for injuries on defense? did they change a rule?

(sorry for his knee tho)

They are not. Watched the UF/Auburn game. Guy broke his leg and play continued. Okay should not be stopped until sdsu has the ball back. More ********* refereeing by Jerry ******* pollard

I thought they were supposed to wait until sdsu got the ball back but maybe not. Regardless hope the kid just tweaked it and nothing bad.
