When they were in that commercial break before Pav's 3pt shot, I told my wife: "They can at least rest Lipsey and Ward for the rest of the game." NOPE - I love TJ, but I was absolutely pi$$ed that you'd risk an injury to a guy who has been injury prone since he has been at ISU! I don't care if nothing had happened to Ward. That is a monumentally TERRIBLE decision!! If Ward's play is diminished in the slightest going forward, that will prove to be the worst decision this coaching staff has made in their 3-year tenure!!
Okay docWas it Ward's knee or ankle that kept him out so many games early on in the season? If it was an ankle, and if this was the same one, that is not good. Just because he can walk without a limp means nothing.
Completely speculating but he probably rolled his ankle. I’ve been there before and you need a little time to get over the immediate pain. Hopefully it’s just a roll and not a bad sprain
Or does it mean everything? Was it Ward's knee or ankle that kept him out so many games early on in the season? If it was an ankle, and if this was the same one, that is not good. Just because he can walk without a limp means nothing.
Is it just me or did Omaha look kinda nervous out there? Could have had a dunk and 2 or 3 offensive rebounds but couldn't get a handle on the ball when he had opportunities.Obviously you put Omaha in there. It's a fluky thing, but I bet TJ wishes he'd just stuck Omaha in there for the last 2 minutes.
I just came to view this thread after a great win and this was the first post I saw. This poster should he permanently bannedYeah, @AlumfromAmes....what say you?

It was broken foot in the non-con, so unrelated. This would be same ankle he tweaked against Houston. Was it Ward's knee or ankle that kept him out so many games early on in the season? Can someone just rewind to see if Ward got hit in the jewels and report back?
I think it's been bothering him a little bit for a while now.I was worried it was Ward’s ankle too, but he wasn’t grabbing it and looked fine walking through the line.
Pretty sure it was a foot? Was it Ward's knee or ankle that kept him out so many games early on in the season? If it was an ankle, and if this was the same one, that is not good. Just because he can walk without a limp means nothing.
Reminds me of Freshman Melvin Ejim. He had the same issueMan Omaha has hands of stone.
