I really thought it just looked like we were chillaxing. Look, I spent most of a season in a bathroom. I get pathological ISU fan worry. Tonight never for a second felt in doubt to me. It felt like they came out dialed to a 9 and figured out going to 6 would win just fine.

That just means you are a well-adjusted fan . I thought I was relatively relaxed about the game, but my heart rate told me otherwise! I do think the losses the last time we were a 2 or a 3 seed plus last year's **** show, made me a bit worried.

Drake doesn’t have any Iowa guys on their roster either, other than Tucker.

Fans and media are likely over hyping the motivation factor

And really, if you're not motivated during this tournament, you deserve what you get.
I have no doubt about our guys and their motivation.

BTW, for anyone who needs to know, SDSU's initial 10 point run came while I cleaned the girls' bathroom. I debated for a bit whether the girls need a clean bathroom, or whether they could just deal with their own mess for a day.

Once I was finished overall with the 8th grade bathrooms, our guys put the hammer down for good.

Drake has been making some kind of silly unnecessary backcourt fouls and every once in a while they have to call it. Could bite them if if this comes down to the wire. The actual contact in the paint hasn't been as bad.

WSU is big and I know they can beat athletic teams because they beat Arizona, but they don't seem particularly quick.
