I'd guess they found ratings to be the best in the evening instead of mid-afternoon.

Seems like they do this every year for Sunday of the first weekend.

They do it on Saturday too. When CBS had all the games they wanted to end by 7 p.m. eastern on Sunday as to not delay the start of 60 Minutes. But when TBS/TNT started to air games they moved games to late afternoon and evening. The biggest problem was playing the games yesterday in Salt Lake City starting at 10:45 a.m. local time and playing games in Pittsburgh that started and ended late into the night. That makes no sense at all but this is the world we live in today.

Just saw something online that that kid from Oakland only took 8 two point shots all year. That’s can’t be true, right?
I thought Dan Patrick said after their first win on the year his attempts were something like 10 from 2, 350 from 3. Awesome.

I found the tournament as a whole was more entertaining when Iowa State wasn’t in it. You can just enjoy the games with your only rooting interest being how well your bracket is doing.

When Iowa state is playing, those games are so great to watch, but I just can’t get into any of the other games because I only care about our games. So the tournament is kinda lost in the noise.
I'm on the other end of the spectrum. If ISU isn't in the tournament I don't watch much. I want to see the competition and what we'll be up against at this point. I only root for the underdogs in our bracket as I don't care for any other school than ISU. Being in it grabs my attention way more than if we're not.

When ISU gets a bid and is still playing, my interest is 10/10.

When ISU doesn’t get a bid my interest is 7/10

When ISU gets a bid and gets knocked my interest is 1/10. I get interested again maybe a round or two later, but I don’t like watching the rest of the round after an ISU loss.

We have accumulated quite a bit of land in the college basketball imperialism map. A lot more up for grabs if we continue to advance in the east region.

Oh my gosh. Yes - 364 three point attempts and 8 two point attempts.

Also saw a video that showed he took only 3 dribbles to score those 32 points against Kentucky.

I'm glad we were able to beat a team that was often ranked this year and 2-0 against Arizona to make Sweet 16 instead of two local teams.

I like those two teams, but it's just not what you think of with the NCAA tournament, playing your next door neighbors two rounds in a row.

I guess one argument you could make for scheduling then in the non con is that the committee would be more inclined to try and avoid a rematch.

Would have been nice to have Kevin Harlan and crew, instead of the steaming pile we had. Oh well, if we win it doesn't matter.

Drake at WF every other year seems like a no brainer, everyone wins. We want to dominate tshirt fan crowd in DM anyway, especially in the sport we’re 10x better than Iowa. I’d like to play them regularly somehow.

Pantherhawks can take a hike though. Just my opinion, anyone can disagree.
