Since the expectations will be high next year, and that has never backfired for us, I was looking at next year’s first round tournament locations. There are 3 that are decent, but not really close. Which is your preferred location for first round next year?

First Round Sites:

Thursday
  • Providence, RI
  • Lexington, KY
  • Wichita, KS
  • Denver, CO
Friday
  • Cleveland, OH
  • Milwaukee, WI
  • Raleigh, NC
  • Seattle, WA

Id probably say Wichita based on distance as well as on who would probably end up at each site.

Denver second option

I'm three hours away from Denver. Easy choice for me.

Live in Denver, so selfish choice.

The alumni group out here is pretty active and would be good "hosts" if it ends up that way.

Milwaukee is B1G Country;
Wichita is KU Country;
Denver is Big XII Country.

So, I voted for Denver.

The arena in Wichita seats a little shy of 15,000 and KU will most likely be there. I'd vote Milwaukee simply for ticket availability.

I was at the Purdue game when we played them in Milwaukee. We had about 3/4ths of the arena, probably on par with the Wazzu game. It Wisconsin isn’t in the other pod, that’s the easy choice for me.

If it's based on personal travel distance if I could get the time to attend, Milwaukee or Cleveland.

Based on distance from Ames, it could indicate ISU's seeding level, in which case Wichita or Milwaukee .... those would suggest we're on top 3 lines.

Lot of flux/uncertainty involved, but Seattle or the easterlies and we're probably 4/5 or lower. Not that 4 is "bad."

The Big 10 Champ will be there, they will buy the majority of the tickets before the brackets are even announced.

Hopefully whatever happens, they can play their way into the Midwest regional in Indy. Other sites are Newark, San Francisco, and Atlanta.

I'd like Milwaukee for some Happy Days. Maybe Laverne and Shirley could make the games.
LOL when you take the Lakefront Brewery tour. They play the Laverne&Shirley theme song at the end of it and you can sing along to it if you want
