That's the defining word for every pick in every draft, though. If any first round player doesn't pan out, it's a black eye.
Latu was my favorite defensive player this year. He dominated every time I watched UCLA, but the injuries are a concern. I think Turner is a fairly safe pick. He has a ton of potential and should be a great fit in their defense.

3rd and 4th picks are 2025. 5th round 2024. And they got one of the defensive gems of the draft. Actually pretty cheap. He is a difference maker that is an elite talent.

They lost another 2 picks in this draft moving up one spot earlier tonight for McCarthy.

Turner looks like a potential 10 year starter at a premium position. Also helps to replace Hunter. McCarthy might be the real deal and we did not give up the farm to get him.

Great outcome for this draft already.

Price for Turner was maybe a little steep. But he was a projected top 10 pick that most mocks had going to Atlanta at 8...thanks Atlanta for taking Penix!

And I think he'll come in with a chip on his shoulder because he dropped out of the top 10. Plus, he's a Bama player...SEC Defensive Player of the Year. Love it.

QB of the future and a potential All Pro at EDGE to replace Hunter. Use the cap space now to fill out the roster. Some wanted to not have the 2025 First rounder as well to get McCarthy.
