I think its going to be fun to see the callups this year.
Brooks Lee will likely get called up as soon as he is healthy.
I bet the next rotation spot we need to fill will be David Festa.
If Buxton gets hurt again, do we see Keirsey or Emmanuel Rodriguez even?

Will be nice to get Lewis back. Personally, I think they should release Farmer but I doubt that happens. I think either Julien or Miranda get sent down.
Really nice to see Jose Miranda bounce back. At a minimum, he might be a nice trade piece, or he takes over at 1B.

Hot take: Send Eddie down instead of Miranda.

He probably should be to get back on track. He's been way off lately. Unfortunately that would mean Kyle Farmer would get more time at 2nd base, which isn't great. Castro would get time too. If they could time it with a Brooks Lee promotion, that'd be ideal.

I think Miranda would have plenty of DH/1B options when Lewis comes back.

Sounds like Lee is gonna be a while from what I understand still so that's not great.

This is what I'm kinda expecting. He missed his shot and they have Kirloff and a few in the minors that can take over 1B. Hopefully he keeps hitting.

Anyone else enjoying watching them this week since they’re playing KC? I actually don’t mind the KC announcers, they do a good job.

Paused YTTV and signed up for Fubo for the summer so I could watch the Twins on Bally Sports North. I'll switch back in September

My guess is— Royce will take Margot’s spot on the roster.

Who will be sent down when Royce comes up? Julien has been slumping. Kirilloff and Larnach are a little redundant. Margot and Farmer would have to be cut so I don’t think it will be them. It’s a tough decision.
They hang on to old veterans way longer than they should. It will be one of the younger ones,

My bet is either Kirilloff or Margot. I think Margot is actually reasonably likely. Twins clearly aren't comfortable playing him in center and a backup corner OF who's upside is a .700 OPS isn't exactly a hard thing to replace. You could say something similar about Farmer but I think his longer Twins tenure makes him a less likely cut. Less likely to cause hurt feelings in the clubhouse cutting a guy who's only been in the organization 3 months in Margot.

Edit: Sounds like it's going to be Julien.

So can the Twins beat the Yankees at least 1 game? Yankees coming off a long west coast road trip so maybe they will be a bit sleepy this series or at least for tonight.
