I'm not sure I could come up with a top five, but for all the old heads with nothing in the list post 2000,there are 2 guys on YouTube that talk music that I've found entertaining.
The professor of rock and Rick Beato.

I can do number 1 - Disciplined Breakdown by Collective Soul

Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time
Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss
Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet
Amon Amarth - Twilight of the Thunder God
Be'Lakor - Vessels
Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain

I'm going to say there was a tie for 5th, but I don't know that I could truly come up with a firm top 5 or even 10. I feel like I'm doing a disservice to a lot of other albums by not mentioning them.
