I put variety at the top of my list, in most aspects. Life is too short to have "favorites" of pretty much anything. A person could be born, live, and die, and never know what a Maple Nut Goodie tastes like.
...for the record, they aren't very good, but at least I won't have that question to worry about while I lay on my deathbed.
I do not, but it made me feel old that my first response to reading this was "That sounds like a great idea"
I have many, many favorites in the chocolate category, I can tackle that later.

We recently discovered Trader Joe's Sour Scandinavian Swimmers. If you like Sour Patch Kids, they're worth trying
I had hyper emesis with our youngest child, was hospitalized due to vomiting. One of the only things I could actually eat without barfing was Sour Patch Kids. I ate so many of them.
YOU recently discovered them - I have loved them for years! They are even better than SPK.
The freeze dried Sour Skittles are amazing! Everyone else in my family hates them, other than my son.
In my mind you look EXACTLY like your avatar and that makes a conversation about candy addiction much more entertaining to me.

Fruity gummy anything is a go-to. Notably Gummy Lifesavers.
In the general 'Well I'll just have a couple...hundred' column so I do my best leave them alone:
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups or mini cups or holiday-shaped or anything they make with peanut butter inside the chocolate.
White Chocolate or Hershey's 'Hugs'.

I never buy candy because I have no self control if I know it's available, but I am a huge Peanut Butter anything guy...
Peanut Butter M&Ms > Reese's Pieces, but I can and will destroy either one when near them
Reese's Peanut Butter in any of it various forms is always a huge kryptonite things for me also.
Snickers Peanut Butter and Twix Peanut Butter both make my honorable mentions list also.

We have a member of our extended family who loves Werther’s Originals. One day one of the kids called them welfare originals so that’s what we all call them now.
Don't eat much "candy" but when I do Skittles and Starburst are my go to. Dark chocolate is my favorite sweet.
