A healthy Spencer is the best in the world, and has been for several years. Not saying he can’t be beat, but he’s the favorite to win this tournament.

I think he’s looked great in his 2 matches so far this tournament. As good as he’s looked in a long time. He was aggressive, scored from a variety of attacks on his feet, and showed no signs of conditioning issues. His parterre is always going to be a game changer.
Spencer’s grip strength is otherworldly

It seems so strange how they do that.
It is strange, but they do that because of the repechage, so if a guy gets beat early by one of the guys in the gold medal match they give them another shot. Not sure why they just don't do a losers bracket, instead of giving two bronzes out...

Right, it makes sense up until you see they give our two bronzes.

That’s a rough first round loss for Parris. Pretty unlikely that he gets pulled back into repechage, so looking like 0-1 and done for the US at 125kg

Just watched the replay of Dake’s match against that dude from Iran. My god… what an absolute beast.

Will he retire before the next Olympic cycle? I know he would have to get through Nolf (and O’Toole) but David would have such an uphill climb there.

Dake is 33 years young , would assume this may be his final Olympics but honestly who knows

we just watched a 42 yr old cuban absolutely dominate his bracket in greco

Well Dake claims he’s reversing aging via all his wacky health/training techniques, so he may just wrestle forever

Dake loses 20-12 in the semis.

So many exposures.
Cannot believe he continued to give up his leg like that.

His two losses at the Olympics are truly one of the most unbelievable things I’ve seen in wrestling. He’s always been one of the best competitors in the sport, and always wrestled so smart and finds a way to win. Now in two Olympics he’s had the two worst matches of his entire career, college and beyond. Unreal.
