Have we had this type of thing before for football or am I too early?

Perhaps I'm being a bit impatient but go ahead and merge/delete if there's a thread tomorrow.

Predictions? Things to look for? Info on North Dakota? Other things to be excited about?

Prediction: I'm guessing like a 20-6 slow roll type of win.

Things to look for: Looking at the trenches on both sides of the ball more than anywhere else. Is there potential there or are we looking at another work in progress type of deal?

I would like to see if someone like Carson Hansen finds more time on the field somehow. Seemed like the type of guy you need out there somewhere.

Excited for: the opening game being on FS1. ESPN+ hasn't worked for me on any device over the last several years for the Labor Day weekend game.
Also just excited for a full slate of college football games on Saturday.
I actually kind of love this game week thread type of thing. Gut feeling tells me this will be a lot like the SEMO game a couple of years ago. I’m thinking 49-7 ish or somewhere in there, however rest assured, no matter how good or bad ISU looks, CF will overreact

I'm expecting around 30ish points and give up a late score and they get 13 or so. I'd be a little concerned with only 20 points with what we have returning and expectations. But it's the first game so I'm not going to overreact either way

I don't want anything taking away from Rulzzz game day thread though...just my opinion.
Yeah I thought about that.

@CycloneRulzzz does this work? Can always discontinue to keep that excitement of the game day threads (one of the best things about CF) going.

My proposal would be to rename these "ND/opponent Game Week Discussion Thread" or something. I was a little confused when I saw "game thread" so early on.

Done and done.

I'm assuming I get a good chunk of change for starting a thread so you can have like 10% for the better title idea.

Campbell will try to establish the run the entire first half in a slow slugfest and be up only 14-3 at half, then UND will get a field goal to start the second half and ISU will throw a little more in response with the final score being around 31-13
