He went 13-14 wrestling 184 at probably 175 lb.
Didn’t he have a couple of ranked wins?
Looks like his best win was against Troy Fisher (NW), who was borderline ranked. Wrestling 184 can’t be overlooked though. He was basically a sacrificial lamb because they didn’t have anyone else.
training with our staff will help Riggins blossom, I’m not remotely worried about it.
Agreed. It’s just unreal how they treated him though. Redshirt year at 165, then throw him out to the wolves at 184. Guy wrestled 5-6 top 10 matches while being at least 10 pounds underweight. Only gave up bonus points in one of those matches.
Never really got a chance at 165.
Riggins given a chance to develop at his comfortable weight will be just fine
SDSU has 3 AAs returning (same as ISU) and then added Siebrecht and Glazier.

Iowa's lineup will look different as significant roster changes are expected at the beginning of the season.
Will all these recent transfers that were not in the portal (Buchanan, Teemer, Riggins) be eligible all season or just 2nd semester?
So will he only be a second semester guy? i get confused on all the transfer rules.
I'm not sure how this works anymore, especially if Mineo is right about not having a transfer window and being walkons.
