Sucks, but a tibia break is way better than what it could have been. We'll be getting another year of Bacon with the medical he'll get which isn't great for this season, but could work out down the road. Some good young LB's on this team and could be a dominant group in a couple years.

Just curious if a guy had his arm amputated could he use it to assist in tackling as long as he didn't throw it?

Now that Bacon had his leg amputated, can he get one of those curved blade legs that the sprinters use?

That or maybe a cyborg leg? Although I’m not sure that’s a good idea, the Terminator was pretty slow in the first movie. Might need to wait for the tech to develop the Liquid Metal leg replacements from T2.

Brandon Roy (NBA) had meniscus surgery then was back playing in a playoffs game eight days later. He never fully recovered though and was out of the league two years later.

Rushing back from such things even if you're able to is generally not a good long-term idea.

We’ll have to win the Big 12 because I don’t see us beating Iowa on Saturday.
We have a better chance of making the playoffs than Iowa no matter the outcome Saturday. There is a reasonable path to it for us. Iowa won’t win the big Ten and they will never be voted in as an at-large due to their style of play. The ineptness on offense has done so much damage from a national perception that they are screwed.

So ignorant to think Iowa’s offense won’t be considerably better than last year. See QB alone.
Also, ONLY way we make the playoffs is if we win the Big 12. This is for certain true if we lose Saturday.

Disagree.. if they go 10-2 they are a 100% lock for an at large. And any 9-3 B10 or SEC team will always at least be in the conversation
