You can get tickets for the KU/Houston game at Arrowhead for as low as $23 from ticketmaster. (same seats around $79 for our game) Honestly there are about as many available tickets for that game as there is our game. Pricing is not equaling demand right now.

It must be that the seats are still low enough that players/coaches maybe tents? would limit the view of the sideline?
Or, are they near the top of the section and under the club section overhang?
The ones marked obstructed start at about the 22nd row. When I look at the "view from my seats" page of seat geek, it doesn't show any overhang. I think I'll look for actual photographs from "view from my seats" sites. pictures.
I usually avoid the lower half of the lower sections because I'm 5 foot nothing & cant see over the team a lot of times. They set up tents on the sidelines? Well, then, DEFINITELY going higher!

KU's 1-2 start not looking so hot right now. Another L or two the price on those tickets will really trend downward and availability will trend upward. Holding off on buying for now seems like a pretty good strategy.

I'm still holding off...just trying to get a sense of where we want to sit. They're at $400 lower half, $300 upper half on seat geek in those two sections.

I really want to go but for that money, I may as well put it towards the Chiefs game Sunday. I get to see the Cyclones every home game. Chiefs rarely.

I can count on one hand the number of times I've watched a pro football game on TV. And three of them involve Brock Purdy. I've never gone to a pro game in person...too pricey given my lack of interest! :D

Good call. There's way better sports venues for less money. I prefer to watch football on TV. Professional hockey and NASCAR are the opposite. Way better live than on TV .

I was able to procure a code from a KU donor.

FWIW: cheapest tickets are $70 for 300 level. Club level (200s) are going for $182+. 100 level in the end zones are going for as little as $93. These prices are all with fees. I think we're going with section 112.

The Chiefs Broncos tickets are so expensive. Tough to make a double header that weekend when you're spending close to $800 on the Chiefs game on 2 tickets alone with no parking or food. I went to the Steelers Chiefs playoff game in 2022 for like $250 on 2 tickets and parking.

I know it won't happen but I'd love to find out game time sooner rather than later. We are in KC for a soccer tourney that weekend and trying to see if we can get to the game while we are in town. Granted, we won't know our own game times until 7-9 days out. In theory, we could request a game time on Saturday....

I would guess it will be 11 or 2:30 since the Chiefs play the next day. I would think they want as much time as possible to switch over the field, etc.

We have 10 going to the ISU game and several were thinking about taking in the Chiefs game. But you are correct, prices are ridiculous.

The Chiefs grounds crew can't dictate the game time. This decision is completely up to the TV Networks

Im sure they would like as much time as they could, but its not impossible to do it overnight. Back in 2007 when KU and Mizzou played at Arrowhead on Saturday night in primetime, the Chief's hosted the Raiders the next day at noon.

KU paying fees on tickets for a limited time. I'm still waiting until they open up the lower bowl to the general public.

Lower bowl seats on the ISU side between the 30's are now open to the general public. KU is still requiring a presale code for lower level corner and endzone seats. I guess they are willing to sell the most expensive tickets ($224 & $275, but no fees) now.

Does anyone know where the seats purchased through ISU will end up being? We probably won't be sent the tickets until the two weeks leading up to the game.

and if I'm KU at some point you want to get whatever you can... ISU fans, maybe enough red and yellow will pull confused Chief's fans off of the interstate, people who want to stand next to the suite that Taylor Swift sits in... anything you can get.
Do the Chiefs play home on Sunday? Taylor could put on a hr concert after the ISU game that would sell it out:D:)

I'm predicting that KU will lose to West Virginia this Saturday. They will fall to 1-3 on the season and ticket prices for the Arrowhead game will start falling as well. At least I'm hoping so.
