Per the news article, the contract with Sporting KC gave Sporting all the proceeds from concessions.
If the Chiefs get the same deal, wonder how they feel knowing 20-25K ISU fans are waiting to buy tickets that aren't a rip off but will drink 1000s of $16 beer?

"However complex the contract with the Chiefs might be, the one with Sporting is brief and simple. The “Letter of Agreement” is only four pages long. KU paid Sporting $100,000 in rent and another $150,000 for game day operations, according to the deal obtained through the open records request.

Sporting KC retained all parking and concession revenue and got 20% of KU merchandise revenue sold at the park. KU was also obligated to reimburse Sporting for “reasonable” and “documented” expenses to repair any damage to the field."

No offense but if anyone here wants to buy tickets today, this week, or this month, I’ll find some and sell them to you all day long.

I also have parking that I will sell cheaper than you can get thru the chiefs website and would sell separately or find tickets to make a package.

Emotion is more of a friend to sellers than buyers.
But as I’ve previously said in this thread, value is relative to the buyer…

Reminds me of when Iowa fans were buying Rose Bowl tickets for almost a grand and the morning of the game there were piles of tickets on stub hub for under $50. Iowa fans got absolutely duped.

Another week, another KU loss.

Do the locked ones on Ticketmaster open up at some point?

At this point I'm skeptical that seat prices will come down all that much, other than them opening up seats currently password protected (and those aren't deals).

Absolutely nobody is going to be enticed to come over from Leawood or whatever to see KU Football, all of the buyers are ISU fans... and those are people who are already committed to making the drive and probably making a weekend of it.

I think your best bet is KU fans that already got tickets that don't want to see that garbage anymore and put them on the market... and KU doesn't have a lot of fans so that isn't a huge inventory.

Did they have a massive change in their lineups or something? I remember them being better last year.
Their current QB looked good before getting hurt last year. His replacement is now in the NFL I believe. I’m not sure if their current guy is hurt still or just let all the fame and NIL go to his head. Also lost their OC and the new one seems… not good.

With supply/demand, the upper bowl tickets should be like $5-$10 at this point. It's just ridiculous with how bad of frauds KU FB is.

Their goal for the ISU game seems to be to do anything to keep Arrowhead from becoming Jack Trice South.

Screw these guys. Tailgate party in the parking lot!
I'm game!

I'm honestly all for an Iowa State VEISHEA riot style bum rush of the gates of Arrowhead if they continue to demand $120+ for tickets to an otherwise empty stadium.

Yeah the fact that they all are still mostly locked and way higher than their other games says something.

But then they know ISU fans will pay and show up so they are trying to make as much as they can off us.

Especially when they havent come up with the money for their stadium yet, and probably had to pay through the nose to the Chiefs who from everything I heard were not too thrilled about letting them play there. And KU basically scheduled there before having any kind of agreement worked out.
