I'm in section B and haven't really noticed anyone being too belligerent...of course every once in a while you'll hear someone cuss at a ref but that's nothing out of the ordinary lol

there was never any hope anyway....JP has stated numerous times as long as he's AD, alcohol will not be sold in JTS.....and it's hard to blame him......seems like around the NFL, there are brawls between fans in the stands occurring every week

Can't remember where now, there were rumors being reported that it almost was approved for this year, fwiw.

Did see after a TD students threw water bottles in the air.
It was happening all game. The refs complained to grounds crew multiple times about **** winding up around the south endzone. Cops showed up en masse after halftime watching for people throwing stuff.

That last drive the students lost their damn minds. Rocco's TD bottles started coming down from the second deck and after the 2pt Conversion and throughout Mr Brightside it was an absolute blitz of stuff coming down. People were getting hit just walking up the steps between 28 and 29.

from our neighbors to the east when they allowed stadium wide sales

It also found that while alcohol-related offenses were the leading cause of arrests, there was a significant decrease in the total number of alcohol-related arrests and alcohol-related medical emergencies during football games at Kinnick.

Section 28 (student section extends above us) has been getting pelted by mini liquor bottles all season long - especially after scoring plays. The students are sneaking them in (as we all used to), and then throwing them off the upper deck into the crowd below. I saw at least 3 instances during the UCF game of them ending up in the endzone and one rolled up to the feet of the state trooper on the UCF sideline.

Interesting. I wonder what prompted this? I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary from my seats.
I hadn't either. Although in our new S lot, we see someone setting up a charcoal grill on the raised end piece where nothing is supposed to "be." This past Saturday they moved the grill to the next end cap because the first was taken up by a group of young people. However, I was truly concerned about a loose football or kid inadvertently running into/hitting that grill and sending burning charcoal and whatnot flying everywhere in the wind.

I think it was murph on an IE pod but he mentioned some bottles being thrown from the upper deck during UCF game.
How would he know, he was in the SEZ cheering on UCF?

There is zero security in the SW upper deck. So maybe there will be some now? Although one of those hot games, some WDM cops came up to help someone with heat distress, although I think a fan called for help

Thought my tailgate was in trouble for playing 1 rap with lewd lyrics and someone wearing a pair of underwear with a built in flask. Sounds like some people need to learn how to drink in public.

Only having night games on the schedule does not help matters. Used to be half or even more of our home games were an 11 am kick. Now almost all our home games are at night time which gives people ample time to get loaded

I can only remember fights in the student lots 24 years when I was a student. I cant recall a fight in the stadium, unless it was Iowa but I cant recall one. Now i have thrown beers on the field in 04 and 05.

I'm not sure you can really pin drunk, obnoxious, and rude behavior at a football game tailgate on anger about parking spots.

True although I've seen that kind of behavior come from much more petty things.
