100%. If you can "survive" the first 10 minutes against Iowa they usually fold. If they are able to build up an early lead they are very hard to come back on because they score they typically score at a high clip. This should be a game where we don't settle. Our guards should absolutely abuse Iowa's.
No way, he's the real deal. He was one of the most improved players in the nation last season and could very well get better this season.
I think Fran's time at Iowa is coming to end. Maybe not this year but I wouldn't be surprised if he's gone soon.
Yeah this year's team, especially with who we bring back at the guard position, are more capable to go anywhere in the country and win. Two years ago, we had one guy that started in that game that started the year before, and that was Kunc. Caleb started and Gabe came off the bench. You then had Lipsey as a freshman and Holmes and Osun who were newcomers.

I'm not going to claim to have deep knowledge of Davis, but it seems like in the games I've watched, he is a bit mercurial in that he absolutely took over the game at times, but disappeared at others. Definitely seems like a top 15-20 player, but 2 does seem high.
I still smile when I recall the sheer terror on the faces of their guards just trying to get the ball past halfcourt without turning it over last year.

Iowa has a decent team this year. Sanfort, Dix, and Freeman are good players. I really like Dix. It is really hard for a guard to shoot 55% overall and 40% plus from 3 pts.
