What’s wrong with the offense?

that is not it, it is what could have been that really hurts and people have a right to feel upset about it. The game was lost by completely preventable mistakes on offense. We are having a great season, but our schedule is not that great. I think the 2020 team was better than this one.
We very easily could have been 5-2 coming into this game, last second wins against Iowa and UCF, would that have made you feel better? I thought being 7-0 was kind of fun.

Do we really think we have a “good” offense?

We have two REALLY good wide receivers. Like all All American wide receivers. That makes an offense good and covers up a lot of bad.

Our OL was terrible today. Our RB are fine. Outside of Higgins and Noel who are our go to’s?

I love Rocco but he misses throws every game. Today his misses made a difference in that 2 pt conversion and multiple other misses.

We aren’t elite at anything. We have been lucky and preyed on a soft schedule. Get in the playoffs and face Georgia or Ohio State. good Lord it wouldn’t be good.

It’s obvious it’s the play calling. We have good backs, good recievers, good quarterback. That 3rd and ten where Rocco just took off running should get a coach fired. So many questionable play calls today. Can’t we go find a coordinator? I mean we are a power 5 team.
I really think the O-line deserves a lot of the blame. Rocco's running for his life out there. So many pass plays where if he'd had a clean pocket, the end result would've been much better.

I think Clanton should maybe shake things up a little and move some guys around. We'll see.

It feels like UCF showed a weakness in our O Line and tech exploited it. O Line needs to get better and some of the play calling today was woof. That with some bad timed penalties and TOs and it was a bad day for the O. Lots of potential there still

Their defensive line or defensive playing was good or lucky today.

Play calling was bad today. Running a qb power on 3 and 11 with 5 minutes left, the 3rd down play after Sama’s big run, and running too much on an absolute trash secondary were the 3 major gripes for me this game.

Taking Sama out after that run, too. Let the man finish the job.

Haven't read everything and maybe it's already been said, but the biggest mistake amongst all the mistakes was taking Sama out of the game in the 2nd half. He was running around, over and through the Tech defense in the 2nd half.

He gets you to the 1........even with the 5 yard penalty keep him in. Once you took him out and went all "heavy".........it made things very simple for TTU's defense.

Should have kept Sama in until Tech stopped him.

Edit: Erik beat me to it

Games like this badly expose how soft our fanbase is.
I disagree. I think it exposes how outlandish it gets after a win. Threads about 12-0 (when that hardly happens even with elite teams), people complaining about not being Top 5. Talk about the playoffs and people booking us in the conference championship game. It was all premature.
