Damn, this is SO frustrating watching the thread now.
I told Cy when I got this role that I didn't really understand it, and wished I hadn't had it assigned to me, but that I would try to do it. As an old retired lady, I'm up later at night and up later in the morning than most of the players, so that was a barrier in the first place.
This is how my nights went.
JM - I asked him about his vote switch. I didn't see his response until YOU took over
Cyfan - I told him I thought he and Ctown were inno and asked him to explain the hint that ctown & fitzy picked up on, and I stayed up late waiting, but I didn't see HIS response until the next morning when it was too late to follow up with more conversation.
Fitzy - I was pretty sure he was inno because of cyfan's hint, and I wanted to pick his brain for targets because he's better than me at this game. We shared info, then I agreed to "out" myself to him in the thread so we could work together (a big risk for me, since he has fooled me before about his mafia status)
Vikes - our conversation left me with doubts. Like fitzy, he has fooled me before. So I decided to watch his moves, but not eliminate him, and thank goodness for that decision! I would have been drawn & quartered if I'd done that!
Farnsy - came into our conversation mad at me because I had blocked his investigation the previous night. Well, how was I supposed to know he was looking at Vikes? Anyhoo, he calmed down and we shared some info, and I was convinced he was a special inno. Again, I agreed to out myself to him in the thread.
Cubs - He spent the entire day trying to out the jailer by asking as many questions of the people I jailed as he could, and it had me pretty frustrated by the end of the day. In retrospect, I came at him pretty hard with my first question, and I probably (definitely) could have handled it better. His response was in kind with my post, and I had a knee-jerk reaction to it. After thinking about his response for a bit, I realized that he probably thought the jailer was CloneLawman, who he has a definite beef with, and he probably thought he was responding to Lawman (more about Lawman in a minute). So I asked you if it was too late to fix things. Alas, by the time I saw that you had done that, it was way too late to continue the conversation with cubs.
And now I'm dead, my role was exposed and everyone thinks I suck at the job that I never wanted in the first place!!!
On top of all of that, Lawman was messaging me behind the scenes. He really doesn't understand/respect the rules of mafia, does he? He was pissed at me for not siding with him, and for saying in the thread that I wished they would both stop and declare a truce for at least the mafia game...the sniping was getting really annoying. He informed me that he could not be friends with someone who was friends with Cubs, and indicated that I had to choose. Well, **** that noise...no one has dictated who I could be friends with since junior high, and it didn't turn out well for them then, either.
So this has been a rough game for me, and I'm whining to you because you are the only one I can talk to! Just had to get it off my chest.
TL;DR
Nobody likes me, everybody hates me...guess I'll go eat worms...
(you might be too young to understand that reference!)

Regarding the Cubs debacle:
I said: Tell me why I shouldn't eliminate you right now. Talk fast.
Cubs said: Eliminate me you clown. You’ve killed us all game.
I said: As you wish.

45 minutes later:

Hey, Psy...have you killed him yet? I think I just realized something...and if I'm right, it's a case of mistaken identity and I'd like to change my mind!

Psy responded at 6am that he had not killed Cubs yet and allowed me one more message. I saw this at 9 am, BEFORE I read the thread. So I asked Psy to send this message to Cubs: "It has occurred to me that you might think that I am CloneLawman, and are targeting me. I am not, and I would really appreciate it if you would quit trying to expose me in the game. I hope we can work together to get rid of the mafia." I don't know if Psy sent the message or not, but his response to me was "I'll send it, but you're dead".

So that's how MY mafia game went! Sorry I wasn't able to do more good with my role, innos...

Gotcha. What I message cash to tell you was 100% accurate, btw. I totally ****** up and killed cyme on accident because I literally had seconds to get that rescind and revote in before I went to randomizer and his name was the first that came to mind.

Also, in the mafia chat, I very literally suggested at one point early in the game that we investigate clonies. Cash told me we shouldn't do that. This is 100% the truth as well.

I had a feeling JM was scum, but I wouldn’t have suspected Clonies.

Agree with Bsalty - thanks so much to Cy$ & Psy for running the game. They were very patient with my late night PMs, and it was much appreciated.

I gave a code to send it in the public thread, so KC sent the code so I knew she was the Jailor.

I still don't know why Vikes would have told the Jailor that he is the Doctor. They both have come together, and then KC find out I'm the investigations (because I asked why they jailed vikes the day before, which she knew who I was as i would the only one who knew vikes was jailed that night).


We should have the jailor, doctor, and investigations and we could have been gold!!! Then it I'd up sooo much. Vikes not saying that to KC, and I couldn't investigate for 3 f'n nights in a row for Vikes. Me. Cubs since jailed.

Ughhhhhhhhh.

Also, petition to have @JM4CY not be allowed to block his profile from being viewed. Made it impossible to go back and try to find posts from him without going page by page. Mostly sour grapes but feel like it’s half cheating

Yo Farnsy. I've been wanting to tell you this the entire time, but I respect the rules. I DID TELL KC. I have no idea why you kept saying that over and over after I was dead. You also said I did nothing. Turns out it's tough to know who the mafia will hit and saving someone is unlikely. I wasn't just using a randomizer.

I second the PM stuff. People shouldn't be sharing screenshots or talking about what their PMs say. It's definitely not in the spirit of the game.
