Or see what happened to the stations in Grinnell,Newton,Mason City and Fairfield who scrapped all in house sports coverage after Alpha Media let go of many of the on air staff. KGRN in Grinnell doesn't broadcast any sports outside of Grinnell and they get the audio of the play by play from the local group that does Grinnell high school events on YouTube and Twitter/X. Two high schools from the KGRN area won state baseball and softball championships this past summer and they didn't cover a single game let alone give any scores of any local game at all.

I would be shocked. Travis sounded stunned and dumbfounded the other morning. That is hard to fake.
And if it was the youngster Justin and the station was listening to a fresh out of college kid on personnel matters...They are in worse shape than we thought.
Yeah more I think about it definitely lean more towards somebody in management that Ross thought had his back/was a supporter but turned out not to be.
Yeah, it won't be long and the afternoon show will be fired all for national shows that "cost less" in terms of money but brings in fewer local listeners.
Hell maybe management gave Ross the option of cohost and producing because they wanted to terminate Justin.
Ross could have said no, keep him, I'll take the axe.
Then the axe fell on Justin as well.
Travis was too good of friends, invited Ross and Justin to his daughter's wedding, and have done shows for too long to be this kind of back stabbing. No way it's Travis.

well, they fired everyone at once last time. Now they just do it one person at a time. the blowback will be less that way.

No, he doesn't care enough about that job to do that to a friend.
I don't know how they can have a morning show with just Travis unless they reshuffle the deck on the Titanic again like they did last time. There is no way Travis is able to do that show solo while producing it remotely and half the time if feels like he is gone or has to leave early. If he's not next that will be a bit of a surprise.
