3-man rush seminar defense.....R.I.P.

I have just started focusing watching our defenders collide and run into each other....it is almost every play.

This is how we got to Memphis (Tom T. Hall).

Defense is worse.
Yes and no.

Defense is slow. Kansas is fast.

Kinda like UCF.

Scheme can cover it up to a degree. But if an offense figures out how to isolate people when they are much more athletic than you in space? It looks like today. Or the UCF game.

Again, injuries matter. but team wide, our defense is slow in terms of foot speed. And teams are now figuring out how to take advantage of that. And that is not something you can just fix. They're doing a great job of play design getting people in conflict and we don't have anyone, maybe other then DP, with mistake erasing speed

We run a corner blitz on the previous possession, and the safety doesn't cover for him and they score a long TD. On this drive, we rush 3 and drop 8 in an underneath zone on 3rd down, and the safety is no where to be found on the deep route.

Blitz or drop, it just doesn't matter. They are getting people open deep either way.

Something is seriously wrong with ISUs football team right now.

I don’t know where they gotta dig, but dig somewhere and claw your way outta this hole Cyclones.

28-10 J-hawks. Averaging 13 yards per play. Ridiculous.

You knew kansas had this in them. They have a lot of talent, but JD turnovers have killed them. They could easily be unbeaten.

This is actually real simple for Kansas.

They are just rolling him out and letting him stand there for 10 seconds until the defense breaks down and finding somebody wide open and if no one is open, he just tucks and runs for 10 or 15 yards.

Rinse and repeat
