True, but we also had a couple games where teams were down with a bunch of covid sit-outs so that kind of evens out.
Doesn't mean ISU wasn't better and wouldn't have won the games anyway. Plus, ISU had their own issues with that (Louisiana).
I made it to three games that year (TT, @ KU and WVU), and that Cyclone team was really, really good. Best I have ever seen in person.
Either way, doesn't matter. It counted, and ISU went 9-3 which hadn't been done since the 2000 team (which I also saw in person).
IMO, the 2020 team was definitely better than the 2000 team (which was good, but struggled against the better teams).
