Good guys win. A little less substituting, as we prepare for Auburn.

Should be a chance to pound it inside and dominate the paint. They don't have anyone taller than 6'8" and their front line players have played 0 D1 games coming into this year. Their starting post (Sean Craig) is 6'7" 220 and has 10+ rebounds in each of their games. He is one of three players that followed their coach from D-II University of Indianapolis to the new(ish) UI Indy team. There are two freshman as well, one (Keenan Garner) is 6'6" 220 and averaging 10 pts, 7 rbs while starting and another DeSean Goode is 6'8" 230 coming off the bench. They do have some bulk, at 220#+, but I think we'll see a lot of post-ups with Jackson and Johnson early in the game.

They kept it relatively close with Xavier by hitting 14-28 threes, so they are capable from there, but I don't see them doing that in this game, or keeping it anywhere close.

Always scary playing anyone that can hit that many 3's at that percentage.

what I would like to see tonight is better flow and guys willing to make that extra pass.

Gilbert was not very good at this the last game in the first half and was fantastic at making the extra pass in the 2nd. When we do that we are pretty fricking good.

I don't think we are very good offensively when we have Lipsey, Jones and Gilbert trying to put their head down and beg for fouls under the basket.
IMO.

Really wish the schedule worked in our favor more setting up for the tournament. Auburn will be a beast and I fear we will not play as well as we would like based on only having 3 games in 3 weeks against very poor competition. Auburn playing Houston will help them a lot.

DMR put out an article yesterday saying that TJ has been holding game-like scrimmages on Thursdays.

I have 4 tickets to tonight's game we can no longer use.
Hate to see them go unused.

Shoot me a DM and I'll send you 2 or 4!

After watching some of the top games, I think this is going to be a tough year, even for our #5 Cyclones. Can't wait to see some top flight teams. But for now we must destroy all the others in front of us.
I've been pretty happy with what I have seen so far.
