Really wish the schedule worked in our favor more setting up for the tournament. Auburn will be a beast and I fear we will not play as well as we would like based on only having 3 games in 3 weeks against very poor competition. Auburn playing Houston will help them a lot.
There's definitely downside, but I also think the other Maui teams won't have anything we're trying to do this year on film. On both ends, it's been very vanilla so far, I'd expect to see more of that tonight.

Over the last 2 years, our defensive intensity has been tough to prep for. I imagine it's even worse if there's nothing on film. I just hope the players can "flip the switch" in Hawaii.

After watching some of the top games, I think this is going to be a tough year, even for our #5 Cyclones. Can't wait to see some top flight teams. But for now we must destroy all the others in front of us.
I've been pretty happy with what I have seen so far.
Heck the B12 top half can all beat each other on any given night IMO

I'll predict 60. This was deduced using the SWAG method

(Some wild *ss guessing):)
At least you're using empirical data with "a" scientific method, and an algorithm based upon known tendencies.

Do we think it’s a shorter bench again tonight? Or was that just a last week thing?

F Sean Craig played on my friend’s son team in Ohio.

Got to see him play a lot in High School.

He is their leading rebounder at 6-7” smooth mid range shooter.

I guess their main big guy hasn’t been playing and the replacement has been getting abused down low.

I think TJ prepping the guys for Maui. Shorter rotation to define rolls for the game plan vs Auburn.
Nojus and Watson will get extended run in December to earn minutes in conference.

Agree. Best defensive intensity we have played, maybe ever, was the 1st half of the Creighton game Hunter's 1st year. That was a thing of beauty. Creighton guy would throw it like a hot potato immediately worried about the double team.

Teams adjust better after halftime.

Hope we get up 50-14 at half. Would prefer not to hear complaining on this message board for one night. Should be fun in Hilton, hopefully some more fans show up.
