Unless I'm missing something seems like 50+ teams that would make as much or more sense.

I think they brought in a couple really high level high school recruits
They get family/friends and fans who happen to live in the area only tho. These things are empty
I guess I don't see college basketball like that anymore AT ALL, but maybe AP writers do.
The success rate with the top 10 HS players has to totally suck compared to with the 10 best transfers. Some years there's not a single player at the Cooper Flagg level in terms of relying on them, with the top ten transfers pretty much all of them can be banked on.
