A win is a win, but definitely seems like we need to work on clock management at the end of the game in regards to giving the opponent the ball back with too much time left. Cost us the game against Tech and could have cost us tonight (and maybe against UCF? I don't remember how much time was left when they got the ball). I get our red zone offense struggles to score touchdowns but Utah was clearly letting Hansen score there and we could have taken a knee at the 1.
Also this might get some hate but I really don't think Mouser is a good OC. Sure the passing game was good tonight but once again seems like we run every first down and either gain 1-3 yards or lose yards and are behind the sticks. And it's so obvious that running Jackson inside isn't working, anyone with a pulse can see he needs to get the ball in space (see his touchdown against against KU).
Under no circumstances do we do this when you are down 4. So we go down at the one and then have a false start, a hold or fumbled snap on the next play. No way do you do this.

I love woody mostly, but the post game ass kissing makes me sick
He's well known for that... even more than CW. It's all about staying in good standing with the football program... all these people are buddy buddy... going to golf tournaments, cookouts, etc. Wouldn't want to not be invited to those anymore. It's not honest journalism... but what really is anymore??

We gave them 17 points off 3 turnovers and still won! If we play a clean game, this isn't a close contest. Here's hoping we've gotten the friggin mistakes from the past 4 games out of our system and play an error-free, complete game against the Purple Kitties.
We haven’t played a clean or complete game all season. You’re asking for too much!

Rocco has had some bad throws, but late in games when ISU needed him to deliver he has been money
Props for great late drive

Two throws behind WRs were both huge. First gave UTAH 7 pts on INT. Later they would have had a first down to Brown I think it was, stalled a drive and punted

When you need a TD to win I don't think you can get too fancy with clock. Just score it. To many bad things can happen if try to stall and run more plays
Yep. Exactly what I was saying... really stupid the second guessing in clock management here

At this point, I think it is what it is. The 2nd half of the Cinci game has really been the only "clean" football in the last 5 games.

Not gonna lay, but I’m pretty down on this team. 9-2 is a great season, but we have not played good football (looking at you offense). Would be amazing to get to 10 wins and a chance to win a championship, but I have a hard time seeing this team beating Kstate. The wildcats are not world beaters, but they are better than Texas Tech for example. If we were playing Tech tonight we would have lost to them again.

This is the same ******** as when people hated TJ's first team that made the tourney.

I figured ISU was cooked tonight just on history alone but they pulled it off and it's a great thing; complaining about winning and getting this many wins, no matter the schedule is weird.

For decades one excuse for ISU's bad program was the schedule and now they get a light schedule and win the games and people don't like it?
