I was just getting ready to say ISU should have won by 3 tds. One of the most painful games to watch. It was hard to celebrate because it felt like it was going to be the worst ISU loss ever. I'm just glad Becht is great at game winning drives.

I just hope ISU plays it's best the next two weeks. They are due.

They have a really good defense and have lost 4 games by less than 7. They’re basically us in 2022.

There are some similarities to Iowa…coach has been there a quarter century, way better on defense than offense, immobile stiff QB gets hurt and the backup who can move is immediately better, similar home atmosphere.

Historically this is a game that Iowa State loses. Classic snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Thankfully Rocco doesn’t give a **** about history.
Agreed. Every mistake we made tonight resulted in points for Utah. Hell of a finish!

If we score on the drive that we throw the pick-six, I think that effectively would have been the game, with the way our D was playing. 14 point swing and I think Utah starts pressing in the passing game. Utah essentially only had two drives the entire game.

I was just saying that losses as a favorite hurt worst than losses as an underdog. You must disagree.

There were a lot of ifs that went mostly Utah’s way. The pick 6, the muffed punt. Hell if we don’t injure Wilson I don’t think there’s any way they even threaten to score from that point on.

How many posts did I read on here and on twitter this afternoon about how Iowa State was going to lose because Colorado and BYU lost? MANY. That alone is something pretty awesome. And add in some unusual (for this year) special teams errors and we STILL won??! That's almost unbelievable.
