I feel like this is really an honor for this team to be invited to the Maui, possibly the last one with this much relevance once the new NIL tourney (of which we will be a part of) kicks off. Many on here wanted a tougher non-con and here we are. Our returning guard court gives us a fighting chance and their biggest contribution may end up being their ability to hold this team together after a couple losses for the rough road of the Big 12 season. With the early ranking as high as it is we shouldn't get dinged too bad with a loss or two if it happens because of the strength of this field, but really looking forward to some top-notch ball games. This post may seem like I'm prepping fans for a less favorable outcome (and in a way I am) but really looking forward to this opportunity for the team, TJ, and the fans. Go Cyclones!

The Big12 is such a grinder, I'm not going to freak out if we lose tonight....as long as we're competitive. If we look like we don't belong in the same gym, then I'll be concerned. What a great test - go clones!
Can this be any more over played?? A freshman and a role player got in a fight, they left them at home, and then went and kicked Houston's A$$.
Hell of a lot of green in that table. Two great teams matched up together. Makes for good basketball watchin'.
Really excited for this game. Not necessarily expecting a win, but its possible. Also, a loss wont hurt us at all. Good early litmus test for this team! Go Clones!

Well you say that but there will be a certain contingent of fan who will meltdown and claim disaster if they lose.
If they go 1-2 I still will feel good cuz they need to play these games to help solidify rotations.
