No, loser of the next gameWait. Do we play UConn next then? If so, that’s terrifying, but also a great opportunity for a good win.

He is coming off a knee injury. Probably effected his conditioning.Agreed…He seemed a step slow and his conditioning looked bad at times. He looked tired. He’s got to be better at securing the ball when it’s loose. And boxing out.
We play the loser of UNC and Dayton.Wait. Do we play UConn next then? If so, that’s terrifying, but also a great opportunity for a good win.
Ah! He's going ti be this years bre that posters choose to attack each game?I would like to have someone explain to me why Jefferson plays so much? His defense stinks and he has no idea of how to block someone out.
I watched it and it looked like Memphis played out of their minds and shot like 95 free throws and only win in OT.Did you watch their game today? This isn’t the UCONN team of the past couple years. I’m not going to guarantee a win, but this team tonight could have beat the UCONN team this afternoon pretty handily.
Ironically we kind of got our sh!t together when Gilbert sat after he picked up his 4th. He wasn’t turning it over but his play up to that point in the second half wasn’t ideal. Way too much hero ball.Man that hurts but encouraged by the way we played. That was a high level game. Too much forcing it into the posts to go 1 v 1 on Broome, Lipsey was a non-factor on offense (is he hurt?), Gilbert foul trouble, and poor defensive rebounding. The great part is we played them well and still feels like we have lots of growth left and a game like this will pay dividends later on.
Jackson for sure - I've already been Dumb'd 100 tims on how I felt Jefferson did.I think Jackson and Jefferson both showed they can play at this level. That was a huge test. They will continue to get better.
How funny would it be to win the loser bracket and play unc and UConn? Please be Dayton
It’s not his fault, it’s Otz’ for not subbing him out when he was clearly playing gassedTo everyone bagging on Jefferson. He looked tired in the 2nd half. Remember he still isn't too far from being back from a knee injury. His stamina will improve.
I thought we play Dayton/UNC loser at 7:30pm CT?Wait. Do we play UConn next then? If so, that’s terrifying, but also a great opportunity for a good win.
Jackson and Jefferson are both going to be huge for this team, but I don’t see either one of them being the bangers I hoped they would be.They have to get more physical down low. How many times did he get denied going for a dunk. He’s huge. If you try and stop a guy that big from dunking he should be breaking the guys hand on the rim. Ever see Shaq get denied? No because he knew to use physical force while throwing it down and rebounding
Have been yelling kick it a lot. Kg is scoring or getting fouled. But seriously, if this engine is performing at top level he needs to feed melanWould have loved to see a kG kickout to Milan who I don't even think was out there on the last play. Just way too much Gilbert trying to do it all himself tonight.
Maybe. A win or loss against UNC would "look" better. Please be Dayton
It was big for Auburn to have already played Houston. This was our first big game and we didn't play great. But we'll be fine.A lot of teachable stuff. We’ll be fine.
It was hoiberg himself. Got a million of them playing for Flip SaundersI could be wrong in where I give credit, but was it Doc Sadler on Fred Hoiberg's staff that was good at drawing up out of bounds plays and run stoppers out of timeouts?
I hope Milan is ok....don't get how you don't sub him in after the timeout? He's been a clutch final shot hitter before.Would have loved to see a kG kickout to Milan who I don't even think was out there on the last play. Just way too much Gilbert trying to do it all himself tonight.
