So refreshing to see us hit a ton of free throws down the stretch.

yep. they really need more games to gel with the new frontcourt. the guards are used to trusting the bigs to always be where they should, and the bigs are still figuring it out.
For all of our offensive issues it’s amazing that we still scored 89 points. Actually impressive. FT shooting was amazing 25-29. But only 11 assists.
Whew, that last 2 minutes might have been the difference between going 2-1 or 0-3 in this tourney. Dayton is really good and there's some high level basketball being played out there.
W. I’ll take it. I’m willing to chalk the defense stuff up to it being a weird format in a weird environment
The bigs are currently the weak link defensively. They’re missing assignments and coverages right now but that’s what I expected. They will continue to improve at that. They clearly won’t have the rim protection we may have had last year.

Houston gave up 80 in regulation tonight and they are great at D
I think ISU and Houston are teams that take advantage of tired legs as season goes on
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's the worst defensive performance we will have all year. Glad we are coming home with at least 1 win.
I know, but with a little downshifting and just a little more wise play, He would be unstoppable and undefeated. He is VERY good to great. If he shifted a little, he'd be ALL time.
