Defensive rotation really improved last 5-6 minutes. Jefferson played smart defense to avoid 3rd foul, so we were able to keep Jackson fresh for 2nd half. Team looks fired up.

did you guys hear the CU head coach say we were slow footed? And their coach also noticed our defenders leave their feet a lot, so he has them pump faking.

I would think he and Jackson combined are kind of what we're missing, then Chat adds depth. But I wouldn't say "Jefferson" alone.

Auburn could very well be ranked 2 or 3 soon and we had them right there on the most neutral court possible. Auburn certainly handled UNC and Houston more easily than they did ISU.
That was a really good team. One that I’ll remember when filling out my bracket.

Honestly the Auburn vs Iowa State game was probably the real championship game.

As much as it sucks we lost that game... that game is still going to do wonders for our resume in March. And as long as we're not fighting Auburn for the last #1 seed, it's the kind of game that could help us get a #1.

Regarding our new players, one thing that will be so valuable is frontcourt guys that can hit a good percentage from the line

Pretty awesome first half, but if there's one thing this tournament has shown, there's no such thing as a safe lead. We really need to win the first 5 minutes of this half and set the tone.
