ESPN isn’t happy Colorado isn’t in either

Cyclones land title game berth

Iowa State is headed to the Big 12 championship game, possibly due to a 29-21 win over Kansas State on Saturday but likely because people are out to get Deion Sanders.

Rocco Becht accounted for three touchdowns in the win over the Wildcats, and combined with BYU's 30-18 victory over Houston, the Cyclones locked up a shot to play Arizona State for what is almost certainly the league's only playoff bid.

That leaves Coach Prime and Colorado on the outside looking in, which is a real slap in the face. First, voters snubbed Travis Hunter for the Thorpe Award and suggested Ashton Jeantycould still win the Heisman Trophy. Then they refused to give Hunter a second Michelin star despite his exquisite take on a deconstructed duck confit. And now this. When will the bias end?

Maybe Colorado should have beaten Kansas State.

I take that as mocking Prime.

Clemson beats SMU

Committee will have to choose between SMU, Colorado, and Miami.

SMU not making it penalizes them for playing in the conference playoff game but Miami and Colorado have the more entertaining players.

Couldn’t be happier the committee is being put in a horrible position

People, it's Arlington, not Dallas. Our city has spent like a bazillion dollars on these fancy monument signs on all major roadways into the city to distinquish us from the surrounding lesser towns, so please respect that.

Does anyone know weather a child under 1 needs their own ticket to this game?

Not exactly sure.
I think ALL of the national press is going to be focused on Skattebo vs ISU's "poor rush defense." But I am not afraid of their rush game. They are the 4th best rushing team in conference. We played the 3 teams better than them and went 2-1 (the one being Kansas). We've played 7 of the top 9 rushing teams and went 6-2 (we are number 8). And we were at peak injury during those two losses. And in one of those losses we were leading with a minute to play. So a big rushing attack is something we've been dealing with, and winning against, all year.

Their defense is fine but not as good as ours. They played a few more bad conference teams than we did. Okie State and Arizona are on a different level of bad than UCF and Utah. They played UCF tight like we did, and lost to Cincinnati.

I like ISU's chances in this game.
We also played with 4th string backers during a lot of the games. Our better backers are getting healthy and playing more. Those other backers aren’t even seeing the field now. The reason our run defense is improving. Along with big citrus and JR now playing.

BYU would go before CU I’d think.

I am going to make sure to visit the cemetery, Washington and Jefferson monuments while in Arlington too.

The only one of that group that should go is SMU, if they beat Clemson none of the others are close to being considered.
