Only way the B12 gets two teams is for Clemson to lose again, that puts SMU in, and then have Arizona St. lose a close game to ISU. If we lose, we would have 3 losses but no really great wins. Miami has a chance to sneak in if Clemson gets beat, but if they win, SMU still gets in over a 3 loss team from the B12.
Still think its going to be:
4 from the B10
4 from the SEC
ND and Boise
then one each from the ACC and B12.

We are going to hear a lot on Tuesday about the SOS of the SEC teams and how their 3 loss teams of Alabama and S. Carolina would beat the B12 runner up.

Boise isn’t screening anyone - the committee is.

I’m going to keep posting Boise’ wins that somehow have them as the 11th ranked team. Joke.

Georgia Southern
Portland State
Washington State
Utah State
Hawaii
UNLV
San Diego State
Nevada
San Jose State
Wyoming
Oregon State
“Quality loss” to Oregon … it just means more

Miami, Alabama, and South Carolina are all going to be in that 10-12 ranking area, and SMU will be close to that if Clemson wins. You seriously think there’s a chance the loser of the Big XII championship will jump all four of them?

—Big10 gets 4
—Sec gets 4 - they will argue they should have them all…lol

So Boise is the one really screwing the league this year.

Boise is screwing no one. It's the Big 10 and the SEC each having 4 teams penciled in while the rest of the nation fights for scraps.

It's BS. The committee knows it...........they know we know it, and they don't give a s***.

I don't care who they are.......Ohio State should be out. They finished behind 3 teams in their league, not going to their CCG yet most have them seeded higher than the Big 12 champ. Like I said..........it's BS.

Big 12 is very, very, very likely getting 1 team in.

The only possible route for 2 would be Arizona State somehow leapfrogging the three-loss SEC teams ahead of them (all of them won today, with USC winning ranked game against Clemson), Miami dropping behind ASU with their loss, SMU beating Clemson in the ACC title, AND then the committee not punishing ASU for losing in the B12 championship. I don’t see it personally.

I think you’re looking at

SEC: Texas, Georgia, Tennessee
B10: Oregon, Penn State, Ohio State, Indiana
Notre Dame
MWC: Boise State or UNLV
B12: ASU or ISU
ACC: SMU I think is a lock at this point

Last spot up for grabs between Miami, Bama, South Carolina. All 3 get bumped if Clemson beats SMU
Big 12 CCG loser isn’t getting in. If a second Big 12 team was going to get in it would’ve been ISU winning but Houston beating BYU.

Now the only chance would be BYU along with the CcG winner. But that amount of chaos needed isn’t happening.

I think SMU is in regardless. The committee has already stated that making the conference championship game shouldn’t be a punishment. So I doubt they drop out with a loss.

Oregon
Penn State
Indiana
Ohio State
Texas
Georgia
Tennessee
Notre Dame
ISU or ASU
SMU
Boise
Clemson or Alabama

IMO, there’s certainly important games for seeding, but the field is set outside of the two spots. I think Bama jumps Miami, but I’m not 100%

No, I have stated all season long that the B12 is only a one bid league and was just trying to come up with a way for them to get two teams in, which is not going to happen. There is too much money on the table to allow a 2nd B12 team in, when the B10 and SEC are calling the shots, even with the SEC having a subpar year.

Saw a guy (there's a million of them) take the Big 12 championship winner out of being automatic.

Be prepared.

They'll turn on this as soon as they can when an SEC or B1G brand team is in trouble.

There really isn't a reliable source for these decisions.

Just watch the committee screw them over for a SEC team. They will come up with SOS or something like that to cover their ass, much like the 13th data point to keep TCU out of the first playoff.

I am not sure why people are stating we are going to get multiple teams in. The math and the rankings don’t add up. I wish that was the case and I think in other years where the league is stronger we may get 2.
—Big10 gets 4
—Sec gets 4 - they will argue they should have them all…lol
—notre dame will be a 5 seed ish

There is only 3 spots left for Boise, acc, big12

I will be really interested how they treat the sec on this. Would they strip them down and only give them 3? And remember if they feel like they get screwed they don’t just whine they threaten to start an entire new football league

Acc has Smu, Clemson and Miami fighting over 1 spot

So in my opinion big12 is a one bid league and on top of that if Boise doesn’t lose the big 12 winner will have to go on the road to play someone like notre dame, Ohio state, Tennessee, etc

So Boise is the one really screwing the league this year.
I think Clemson will beat SMU next week and it's Acc that doesn't get the bye. Be interesting if they then get 2 in though with SMU and clemson? Good luck Cyclones. No guarantees but I think a win next week puts you into Quarterfinals

Why BYU over B12 champ loser? They were ranked behind both of them and (as much as I hate the eye test, the dumbasses on the committee use it) looked least impressive of the 3 yesterday

I think there'll be one three loss team, either Alabama or Georgia, if both get in with three losses just walk away.

Not exactly sure.
Texas and OU are doing about the same as if they were in the big 12 this year. Texas is loaded and OU has been pulling a Nebraska under Venebles while he has been coach

Well, to be fair, they’re not automatic now. It’s the five highest-ranked conference champions. If you recall, before Tulane lost this week some knuckleheads were crowing that both the MWC and AAC champions should be ranked ahead of the Big XII.

Sure but whoever was doing these rankings said he had Big 12 champ in all year and now doesn't.
