Yeah if Jordyn Tyson is out, that’d be a big loss for them. Seemed like a relatively significant arm/shoulder injury.

Skattebo is good, but I’ve been impressed by their freshman QB more. He really hasn’t put a foot wrong all year. Excited to see what Heacock can cook up for him, especially if he’s down his top target

I still say they got the first play call right. QB pitched it at 23.5 yd line, it was touched at 23.5 yd line. It is pretty much straight to the side (not backward) and they said sideways is considered backwards. But if that was ISU pitching, I would think it was forward so can fully understand it going either way.

Bummed this morning…. Wife wasn’t a big fan of going to Arlington this coming weekend as we already had some family plans for Saturday. Buddy was texting me last night and sounded like a lock for him going. Told the wife this morning that she didn’t have to go if she didn’t want to since buddy was going and she gave me the green light to go and enjoy the game. An hour later buddy texts me saying his out. Ouch.
Sounds like you might need to find a new buddy AND possibly a new wife.

Though not gay, I've been known to be bought pretty easily, and a free trip to Dallas would absolutely do the trick.

Send resume to @RezClone.

Sooo… away team? All whites like vs Utah or vs Baylor. Which way you think we’ll go?

I assume ASU is yellow/maroon/yellow

People, it's Arlington, not Dallas. Our city has spent like a bazillion dollars on these fancy monument signs on all major roadways into the city to distinquish us from the surrounding lesser towns, so please respect that.

Arlington is like Naperville (IL) or Warren/Sterling Heights (MI) - nobody cares... :jimlad:

ASU could be wearing anything... and their black components are designed to be worn with their entire uni set, unlike ours which have to be worn separately.

I know the players are different but I wonder if the staff gains any advantage by having done this in 2020?

I passed out wearing my "Party like it's 1912!" shirt and I've still got it on. Maybe I'll just leave it all on week.

I'm not sure but it's definitely way too close to overturn the call on the field... which is why it stood.

ASU absolutely dumpstered Arizona. Looks to be a really tough game.

Not to take away from ASU but real chatter Arizona was already thinking of coaching change mid season in year one. They are every bit in free fall like ok st.

Sorry, on replay I still think this went forward. Not by much, but a little but. But they called it backward on the field, and I can see why they said it's not "indisputable." Camera angles make this kind of thing tricky to be absolutely certain.

This whole thing is such a joke. They used to have clearly identified criteria (that they didn't follow).

Now they just completely make it up:

Makes no sense to me why Boise would get the bye. They haven't beat anyone. Also, as far as I know, Boise is not a TV ratings machine (which that along with conference affiliation/network contracts typically explain the "playoff ranking" shenanigans).

If nothing else they desperately need to more clearly define what playing in a ccg is worth, winning it, losing it, or dodging it.

They should also point out lots/most contenders play 10 conference games and some chickens only play 8. While they’re at it, what about a team that only plays 3 road games and has the worst loss in the top 25?
