My parents live in Texas.

From my house to Dallas, it's about 700 miles.

From their house to Dallas, it's about 600 miles.

Ames is 300 miles closer than Tempe. Just interesting.

Me when I found out Tempe is an entire state of Iowa further away from Dallas. I thought you were full of **** and had to look out up.

We drove to Pheonix Insight bowl in 2000 when I was a freshman. Picked a dude up in Wichita, and continued West.

That is a ridiculous distance. I mean it sincerely it's nuts.

I would never have guessed Tempe was that much farther away. Intellectually you know Texas is big but when you look up that road trip...wow.

Yeah, it made me check. ASU~1040 miles, ISU~780 miles About 3 hour drive time difference.

This is exactly what we did in 2009. Except we picked up a dude in New Mexico. Very long drive.

Hey has anybody just gone to this randomly? Do ticket prices come down at all? Looking on secondary markets they are all higher than the through ISU prices, but I could see prices cratering closer to the game. Can't imagine they sell 80k tickets to this thing.

I haven't been to the game, but have noticed in the past 24 hours the average price on Seatgeek/TickPick has gone down. I think prices will continue to dip throughout the week.
