I assume someone else will create a separate thread for ISU related departures/acquisition targets. I had thought about starting this when Nebraska lost a few players from their defense (uh oh Matt Rhule) but I couldn't resist this gem:

It's insane the way college football does free agency but should be an exciting few weeks

lol. I actually couldn't believe he was going to try this again. I'd say that you could bring him in as qb room depth but I'm not sure he's handled being the second string QB very well at either of his last two stops.

He doesn't seem like a bad dude so I don't wish him any ill will but I can't envision him starting anywhere above a group of five level and I just don't get the point of that from his perspective it's not like he's going to be paid a bunch of money.

He's had multiple season ending injuries (plus COVID I believe) so I can see it for him. It's just one of those situations that just because you can do something doesn't necessarily mean you should.

It's definitely time to move on.

Who fleeced Iowa more, McNamara or Proctor? Obviously you got nothing from Proctor, but Cade got more money and Iowa probably would have been better off if he never played a down.

Oh absolutely McNamara. I don't know if we'll ever know how much he got paid but his dollar value per win stat is probably gigantic.

I don't want any part of Miller Moss mostly because of how bad the McNamara regime went. I am intrigued by Conner Weigman however.

For non Iowa teams, I'm curious to see what Utah does at QB. I'm also curious to see how Colorado handles the portal this year. I'm expecting Michigan and Florida to be very active

It’s almost impossible to keep up with all of the cfb movement. Wild times.

He'll be a great replacement for Oklahoma State's departing 25 year old QB
