Weird game, didn't feel as close as it was. Really liked the lineup TJ had late with Tamin, Jones, KG, Heise and JJ at the 5. It matched up really well with them.

Jones with 8 in a row, then Heise comes in and absolutely shuts him down. That was impressive.

And the TV guy kept saying Heise on Jones was a mismatch. I wonder why he assumed that????

Not against us in January. I have a very bad feeling about that one for Kansas.

Big 12 may be having a down year at the right time for us.

By “down year,” I mean possibly only the 2nd best conference and maybe only 9 tourney teams.

Does make it harder if we are gunning for a 1 seed. Might end up with less losses, but getting quad 1 wins also harder. Glad we are off to a much better start than last year.

MU really cooled off from three but they didn't seem to get as many looks as the 2nd half went on.

That's great to see ISU be able to clamp down on that a bit considering how much they over play and give up open looks so much.

I hope the "Heise sucks! Shouldn't play" posts will decrease now. Had an excellent game. Did a great job on Jones late.

He looked really good out there tonight. I'll admit I was down on him earlier but he looks like a solid rotation guy.

I was pretty down on Cuttis Jones last year in November and December and he's my favorite player now.
