What the hell are you guys talking about? Have you looked at who the conf has beaten? It's basketball, you're going to drop a lot of road games.
Agree. Home team has won every one of the big games tonight, except Alabama over North Carolina. It not a mystery, especially in college bball.

there's a reason road wins get a bunch of extra weight on the team sheets via the quad formula.

Hmmmm
CW not concerned about Lipsey at all, says he might be a bit out of shape from taking the summer off. Said he looked better and more healthy tonight compared to Maui.

Tamin's a grinder. That said he looked terrible tonight.
He's even leaning/fade awaying when shooting free throws like he did in Maui.

Tennessee is playing Miami and at Illinois next week. If they lose one of those games, we could be number 1 on December 16.

Last years team was only ranked 2 spots below that team. Had last years team beat Illinois, it would have been nearly equal results. Houston was a tougher conference opponent than anyone that 1999-00 team faced
Hard to compare eras. Texas, Kansas, Okie State, and Oklahoma were all extremely good (and tough) teams in 2000. Studs on all those rosters, each with a mix of young and old talent. We also lost to an absolutely loaded Cinci team in November prior to Kenyon Martin’s injury.

Really quality game.
Marquette fans near us were very complimentary and had no excuses.
We beat a very solid team tonight.

The ones near us were great until the last ten minutes or so. Lots of whining about the refs, especially at the whistle stopping play when Gilbert was leaking blood all over the floor. They left with about 3 minutes left.

The **** Marquette chant by Cyclone Alley probably didn't go over well, LOL.

Does make it harder if we are gunning for a 1 seed. Might end up with less losses, but getting quad 1 wins also harder. Glad we are off to a much better start than last year.
The champion of the 2nd best league will get a 1 seed.

Marquette, like Creighton, should be in our rotation more.
If you would have said that ten years ago I would have disagreed with you.

Now it is a no brainer.
