I live in Ankeny too. Where did you all run to.

I would run outdoors here in Ankeny if there was a good cross country spot. My knees relegate me to turf running or a treadmill. Pavement kicks their arse after a few days.

Nope, haven't ran outside since I lived in Ames (Cross Country track)

I can run with no problems on turf (or treadmill), but after a couple times on pavement I need a week off for my knees to recover.

Older Cyclones fans - let me just say you guys are the best...and I don't know how you do it, but I plan to do it as well. Every year in Ames I see some dedicated elderly Cyclone fans and think I get frustrated with things now and wonder how they have done it for so long?
