Captain and starting point guard of all-time Cyclone "1-man"-teams (not really - but trying to make a point). He was so good playing on not-so-good teams. He couild get to the rack.
Reply to my own post ... kinda forgot about that guy named Tyrese.

He was a lot of fun to watch develop. Good minutes as a freshman to a solid starter as a sophomore. Added a 3 point shot for his junior year then became a real scorer his senior year, which gave him his NBA shot. We've had better players, but his total improvement arc over 4 years is probably the best I remember seeing.

I apparently missed that an asst got fired?
I missed it too. Stevie Taylor apparently, don't remember hearing much about him.

I think of Melvin Ejim when I think of that kind of improvement. Both became amazing players.
