Did you eat McDonalds?Got a bad feeling…
Excuse my ignorance: Are there any protections against say, the co-founder of a successful apparel company decimating the rosters of the potential CFP opponents of his favored school by offering massive NIL deals ahead of the 12/28 deadline? If I had a boat load of money and I hated the sec would it be sporting of me to use it to blow up the roster of say Alabama or Georgia?
Penicillin usually clears that up…Got a bad feeling…
Until the Bears and Jets announce who their new head coach is.. I have a slight bit of worry of Campbell leaving ISU. Riley jumped ship at OU when waters got choppy (because i dont think he's actually a good coach, and he just rode the coattails of the culture Stoops instilled until he saw the wheels were starting to fall off), and i'm afraid his time at USC will be fairly short as well - which does not bode well for Campbell staying at ISU (who turned down $6.5M a year from UNC - he was their top guy). Riley's name has been connected to the Bears open coaching position, and Campbell has been linked to USC in the past (and i believe he wanted to go there before Riley accepted the role), and to the Iowa State Jets.Riley has lost 10 of his highest 12 recruits from 2022 and 2023.

That's about the only thing that would get E$ Peein's attention. And the rules changed... If suddenly the SEC got turned into ****-burgers.If I had a boat load of money and I hated the sec would it be sporting of me to use it to blow up the roster of say Alabama or Georgia?
I would even pay them not to play and clean my boat and mow my lawn. That's about the only thing that would get E$ Peein's attention. And the rules changed... If suddenly the SEC got turned into ****-burgers.
C'mon Mega-Millions! Daddy needs a National Championship!
They would turn you down. Good players want to play.I would even pay them not to play and clean my boat and mow my lawn.
Even if you got rich and donated $10 mil a year, how do you think that money would be spent? I can't see Campbell changing much with the way he brings in players. That's about the only thing that would get E$ Peein's attention. And the rules changed... If suddenly the SEC got turned into ****-burgers.

If you paid them $10 million and you gave them a choice to wash my boat or play football, I'll bet you would have a few lining up to wash my boat. They would turn you down. Good players want to play.
Short answer is yes, that would be tampering. But it happens all day every day and it's nearly impossible to prove.Excuse my ignorance: Are there any protections against say, the co-founder of a successful apparel company decimating the rosters of the potential CFP opponents of his favored school by offering massive NIL deals ahead of the 12/28 deadline?
