If the goal is to win championships, then I guess they are mostly meaningless after you are out of the Big 12 championship game hunt, because as you correctly stated, we aren’t going to get many bids outside of the champ. It will be interesting to see what the next several years bring in the world of ‘college’ football. The game I grew up with is gone. Maybe it’s better, maybe not. No one cares what an old man thinks anyway.
