What brands could sponsor a bowl game and make it as much fun as PopTarts does?

Pizza Hut Classic could sponsor a 1980's bowl for us older fans. Could be fun, retro uniforms, graphics. People love that sort of thing.

The cereal companies should just corner the market. They already have great mascots and could get really creative like pop tarts.
There is something to this that Pop Tarts tapped into. Cereals can easily/seemlessly be both nostalgic and part of pop culture.

Someone mentioned Nintendo up thread and they could generate similar interest as a sponsor.

I feel like Cheez-Its were at the cusp when they were hosting this bowl, but never leaned into the absurdity as much as Kellogg's were willing to when they took over. What other brands out there would allow it's marketing team to go all in on making a fun and memorable experience for players, viewers, and fans?
And they already had fun/goofy commercials with that cheddar wheel. Could have been a great mascot. He had terrific mascot energy.

Mario Bros. could do a bunch of sound effects for successful/unsuccessful plays like the coin sounds for free throws in some basketbsll arenas these days.

Maybe the 'du du du du da' underground level music for 1st and goal situations.
A play over 20 yards gets the pipe warp sound.
A touchdown gets the level clear theme.
A missed field goal gets "the princess is in another castle."
The 2 minute warning gets the invincibility music.

Lots of potential here.

The Texas Bowl should really seek Nintendo out and try to collaborate. It's a Big 12/SEC game, in an NFL stadium, with historically bad/inconsistent sponsorship. The main structure for success is already there with the right sponsorship.

If Jimmy Kimmel can have a bowl, then why not the Saturday Night Live Bowl. They could have a lot of fun with that, especially if it is played on . . .

Saturday! Night! Live!
And now that Snoop has a bowl, a lot of douchey celebs are gonna be wanting their own. If Jimmy Fallon gets a bowl game I will never watch college football again, other than ISU games.

I'm honestly surprised we haven't seen an Old Spice Bowl yet. That seems like the right kind of brand that could go completely absurd with its promotions and bowl game performances.
