Of course that wasn't the focus. The thin skinned fans on this site assume that was the focus. There's been several posters on this site 'report' what they heard. Generally it doesn't foot with reality. The hyper sensitive folks think if it isn't 100% Cyclone praise the source is biased. Sounds like the political landscape and it's pathetic.
But why talk about it at all?

Not that I heard, but he announced it a while ago. They are mad that CMC didn't announce ISU opt outs before game time. Said the fans were mad about it too.
Ah I see. Well tough **** for them. If I were a degenerate gambler, I’d go ahead and assume most, if not all, sure thing draft players are going to sit out the non-playoff bowls and bet accordingly. Nobody owes them any information.

Rocco Mediate is a pro golfer. Maybe he was confused?

Listening to 30 seconds of that clip he seems to be confused about things in general. People listen to that guy? Good Lord I couldn't make out what the hell was babbling about.

Caught a segment a few weeks ago getting in my car... did you call in with your Holiday Power Rankings?

It's 2024, no reason to be listening to this stuff anymore. The last time I listened was probably 2018 and it was the gambling addict Condom worrying about some Hofstra vs. Northeastern line in college basketball.
Yeah, KXNO has exactly zero to offer anymore.

Can you imagine the gambling conversations that Condon and Lucas must have off air. Those 2 probably spend hours a day wanking to gambling lines so they can brag about how their bets went the next day. Easily the 2 most annoying personalities at KXNO these days and when they spend too much time talking about betting lines I usually just change the station as I could care less about what prop line or parlay they are taking with some random NBA games or no name college matchups.

IMO, it is newsworthy. Some Cyclone fans weren't pleased about it. The explanation made it sound like they decided to opt out between pregame warm-ups and opening kick off. Pretty bad look IMO. Communicate stuff and people won't bash it as much.

Yeah I've lost bets because I didn't check injury reports, weather, etc. When you gamble you have to accept you can lose no matter how "good" your bet is.

And it's sports. Who the **** knows what will happen in the game anyway.

You mean some gamblers? Nobody owes you information. Your opinion doesn’t matter.

The dumb thing is Iowa State won. The people bet thinking Porter and Higgins were playing probably bet in ISUs favor

This. If you think a host hates you, continue to disparage them constantly, and distort what they say, you will get your intended result of them hating you.
Yes, goes both ways.

Can anyone explain to me how KXNO/iHeart makes all these cuts, but the can afford to put a casual sports fan at best, who broadcasts from his home basement in Omaha, on the Des Moines radio network? Is Travis really that big of a draw for people?

Also, TIL Travis and Sean are the Morning Rush now. Should come with a Surgeon's General warning.

Does Travis still openly insult Sean and make fun of him or has he acknowledged Sean's growth as a radio personality?

Some people in this thread might be upset to know that Chris Williams thinks Campbell should be more forthright on people playing.

Happen to be in the car and heard the two dolts from the morning show in the PM for some reason. Assume they just replay stuff in the afternoon?

Anyway, these guys literally just sit there and ramble on with various hot takes like Iowa State might lose a game this year, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t good. Then there was the ‘Iowa State is a boring team to watch.’ I am sure there was much more, but I had to turn the channel. 0 show prep or original ideas. KXNO swirling the toilet bowl on the last gasp.
