Josh Allen is very good now, but he struggled when he came into the NFL so much, he was being talked about as maybe being over his head
Expectations are tough, you end up 2nd in mvp voting in your second full year as starter and people talk about how you struggled so much when you came in.

It’s a G5 school, they just don’t belong in a playoff conversation. PSU isn’t even good. Hate that they get an auto bid and should be banned from getting a bye at the least

Agree, and Clemson should have gotten the bye. Had Clemson scheduled a couple Mountain West schools instead of UGa and South Carolina, they’re undoubtedly getting a bye

IMO ASU, BYU, Clemson would have beat PSU tonight, and it’s unfortunate for the Big 12 they ended up on the harder side of the bracket because the committee and pundits don’t see a difference between the Big 12/ACC and G5

There is no shortage of NFL players from smaller schools. Josh Allen, Sauce Gardner (before they were in the Big 12), Maxx Crosby, Davante Adams, Jordan Love, Cooper Kupp, Haason Redick, Matthew Judon, ect.
Jerry Rice went to Mississippi Valley St or some stuff like that. No idea if that is even a school anymore or where the heck it is if so, but probably not the norm.

Revisionist history. He was not great his first 2 years. Made a huge jump year 3 obviously. It’s not really debatable that it was being discussed if he would be able to figure it out those first 2 years.

How many of them were drafted in the first round? I know Love was.

And how many of them were impact players immediately?

It’s an interesting contrast to basketball because everyone loves an underdog Cinderella in March, in January not as much.

For some dumb reason, CFB fans are determined to create an oligarchy. Like the ultimate goal is to get conferences and playoff setups down to one team that just wins the sport.

Terrell Owens also, UT Chattanooga. Antonio Brown, Central Michigan (he was actually really good before CTE)
