I was just talking to my wife about finding a concert at Red Rocks this summer instead of Hinterland. I don't think I can do that again. I'll give it a year and see if the changes improve things and maybe go back for 2026.

Saw some incredible acts last year but it was the most ridiculous experience of my life.

That would be just an incredible venue. Yeah, I wouldn’t have ever really considered Hinterland as it was - and probably still won’t go regularly. But I might consider it if there is a bucket list band or something if this all works out.

Saw this got cancelled. That sucks for you.

Went to When We Were Young in Vegas last year and have tickets again for 2025 - great festival with a ton of great bands again next year. Can't wait as Panic has been on my must-see list for 20+ years.

Sucks I don't get to see my favorite band, but my wallet was happy. The tickets alone were gonna run me over $1400 and that doesn't include gas, food and hotel room. I also hate big crowds so I'm somewhat relieved.

Welp, we were looking forward to going to the Black Crowes at Vibrant in Waukee on January 24th, and my wife just logged into her Ticketmaster app and couldn't find the tickets. Sounds like they moved it to October. Of 2024 . Would have been nice to get a boatload of notifications about that, but it doesn't sound like she did. $249 down the drain.

I don't know if I've ever seen a concert move "up."

Probably should start a 2025 concerts thread, but I'm too lazy, so...

Went to Big Head Todd & the Monsters at Hoyt Sherman tonight. It's always a crapshoot with older bands as time takes its toll, but I was really impressed as he still has an awesome voice and it was an energetic show.
I was there last night. Amazing show. I love his guitar playing.

I’m excited for Paul Cauthen and Houndmouth shows coming up in February at Val Air. That’s all I have so far in 2025.

I couldn't give a **** less about any of that.

Which makes me feel better about knowing I wasn't going to be able to go anyhow.

I'm in some ways excited on my daughter's behalf, as those are 3 of her absolute favorite acts. Don't recognize a ton of non-headliners. Looks like they went big on the headliners at the expense of the remaining acts.

**** I was going to take a year off Hinterland but not sure I can now.

I had actively said last year that it was going to be my last year, but that Friday night lineup pulled me back in. I have been a huge Remi Wolf fan since her first single dropped, and love Tyler. The Creator.

I really like several of the acts on the other days, but my daughter and I both love most of the lineup on Friday, so we will go together.

Personally I'd be fine with just Friday as well-- I can't wait to see Tyler.

Kacey Musgraves is my daughters 1 of 1 and she's seen her 2 or 3 times already, so she's not missing that, and she also loves Lana Del Ray. So I'll probably wind up doing all 3.
